Meet the Moms

About

Hello, we are Joy and Jen!

Our
Story

How We Began

1 in 5 mothers experience a mental health condition and nearly 75% go untreated.

Moms Gone Mental was created in loving memory of a mother we lost to suicide. Her story fuels our mission: to connect communities and open honest, stigma-free conversations around maternal mental health.

We exist to help mothers find strength in one another. By creating safe spaces for dialogue, shared experiences, and real connection, we aim to reduce the silence and isolation that so many moms carry. Our podcast is just one of the platforms we use to spark these conversations and build community.

Moms Gone Mental is more than a support group and we are not therapy. We are a social support movement grounded in connection, compassion, and community.

If you feel passionate about opening up meaningful mental health conversations where you live, we invite you to join us as a Moms Gone Mental Ambassador and help bring support to mothers in your community.
